Juslyn Vineyard, owned by Perry and Carolyn Butler, is located in the Spring Mountain District AVA, one of the very best growing regions in the Napa Valley. Grapes produced in this AVA are sold at a premium price. Average grape price in Napa Valley is around $7,000/ton; in 2017 the Juslyn owners were offered for $20,000 per ton for their Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
For 18 years Juslyn Wines have received exceptional and consistent high reviews from Robert Parker, Jr., ranging from 90 to 97points (see scores). Juslyn’s flagship bottlings, Perry’s Blend and black label Cabernet Sauvignon, sell for $110 and $210 per bottle, respectively. Many competitive set brands sell their wine well above these prices. Robert Parker has noted numerous times the Juslyn Vineyards wines could easily demand more (price).
Juslyn Vineyards wine club membership currently sits at approximately 50. This count could triple++with the opening of a public tasting space dedicated to hosting visitors. The larger the membership the greater the D.T.C. sales.
In 2019, Perry engaged Brian Kochi as the new winemaker/consultant for Juslyn Vineyards Wines
